The rotator cuff is the common tendon attachment comprised of four muscles. The rotator cuff group functions to provide stability to the shoulder as well as controlling the multiple movements the shoulder is capable of.
Rotator cuff tendonitis commonly occurs as a result of overuse or repetitive movements.
