Our original Plattsmouth location opened in March of 1999, but in order to meet the growing demands of Plattsmouth, Cass County and the surrounding area, we moved to our new location in November of 2001.

Tanner Thomas, DPT
Tanner Thomas is originally from Omaha, NE. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2006 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He has been with Community Rehab since the beginning of his career.

An avid athlete, Tanner has an interest in orthopedic rehabilitation including back, neck, hip, knee and shoulder injuries. Tanner has extensive knowledge in overhead throwing mechanics for baseball, softball, and football athletes. Tanner has attended continuing education courses for the treatment of frozen shoulder and low back pain treatment and is currently certified and utilizing Sportsmetrics rehabilitation for the lower extremity.

Tanner is currently working towards his certification in Postural Restoration. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Omaha Sports Medicine Alliance.

Chad Doerneman, DPT
Chad is originally from Schuyler, NE. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology and pre-physical therapy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He received his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2011.

Chad is very interested in manual therapy and preventative therapy for young athletes. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Chad enjoys running and playing golf in his free time. Chad is committed to advocating for his patients and doing everything possible to ensure successful outcomes for every person who walks through the door. He joined the Community Rehab team after graduating from UNMC in May 2011.
