John Cervantes II, PT
John graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1989. After passing his boards, John moved to Las Vegas, NV where he practiced in a variety of clinical settings including industrial, acute hospital, home health and outpatient orthopedics with emphasis in sports rehab and spine care.
In 1993, he applied and was selected for a 1 year sports physical therapy membership position with The Institute for Athletic Medicine in Minneapolis, MN. While there, John gained extensive experience and knowledge treating and evaluating a wide variety of sports related injuries. Having the privilege of mentoring with numerous OCS and SCS specialist in the field of Physical Therapy, John has taken that unique experience and combined it with his 21 years of professional practice. He offers his patients a highly diversified and evidence-based level of care.
Most recently John was employed in a private practice outpatient clinic for seven years in Las Vegas NV. He practiced in general orthopedics with emphasis in sports and spine care.
In late 2010, John relocated back to Nebraska with his spouse Kathryn and two children Aubrey and John III. John enjoys staying fit by working out regularly and playing tennis and basketball when his schedule allows. John looks forward to helping the downtown community in staying fit and healthy. |
