Community Rehab’s goal is to maintain a standard of excellence in general orthopedic and manual physical therapy to best serve our patients. This is achieved by promoting continuing education of our therapists. The following pathways serve to ensure quality, thorough and up to date care for our patients:
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Education Community Rehab promotes growth and development of its staff by outlining a continuing education pathway for therapists. It is a self driven pathway that encourages training of their therapists in Post-Operative Management and Current Concepts in Orthopedics, both sponsored by the American Physical Therapy Association. Employees then have further educational opportunities in manual physical therapy of the spine, Postural Restoration, or other higher level treatment techniques.
IN HOUSE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES
Community Rehab hosts bimonthly continuing education to its entire professional staff on new treatment techniques, manual therapy techniques, and current concepts in orthopedic surgery. These presentations are from orthopedic surgeons from the Omaha metro, as well as national and local therapists. This educational series ensures that our patients will be treated with current and effective treatment strategies at all locations.
